Albertan India Pale Lager

This was our first collaboration with Origin Malting & Brewing Co, located in Strathmore, Alberta–and we’d say it was a winning partnership. Origin malts their own barley, which we used in this brew. Made in the vein of an IPA but using a lager yeast instead of an ale’s, this beer is fermented at a cooler temperature, really letting the malt and hop flavours shine through. We loaded our hopback with Mosaic leaf hops for a lovely tropical flavour and aroma.
