Prickly Pear SourPrickly Pear Sour
When our good friends at Oregon Fruit Products let us know about their new prickly pear puree, we couldn’t resist!
This kettle sour is composed of pale row 2 malt and generous amounts of unmalted wheat and oats. After souring the wort it is fermented and aged. We then added a healthy dose of real prickly pear puree before packaging this fresh, juicy and tart ale.
