Eric John – Thirsty Third Thursday

As part of our Thirsty Third Thursday Live Music Series, Eric John will be playing live in our Taproom on Thursday, July 16 from 6–8pm.

Eric John developed his passion for music early through the influence of his father. Growing up in a farming community, where social events were limited. Eric began learning to sing and play the bass guitar in his father’s band and church choir.

After years of practice around the kitchen table and a weekly ‘gig’ in the church choir, Eric began playing weddings, anniversaries, and other social events with his Father’s band. His musical talents continued to develop while he played in several bands throughout his youth, helped other artists develop their skills, and performed for folks in homes & hospitals, high school dances and charity fundraisers.

As the years passed, his passion for music continued to grow. Eric decided to devote more time to his music career after leaving his position as Senior Executive at a large international corporation. In 2022, Eric took his original material and released his first solo album.
